Perfect Parties USA, New England’s leader in game and inflatable rentals is looking for great people to join our team in the capacity of full-event lead. We offer a fun, high-energy atmosphere with an ever-changing scope of work. We specialize in corporate, college, and high school events and are looking for rock stars to join our team.
If you are outgoing, hardworking, willing to work in a variety of settings (warehouse and on job sites), have your own transportation, and have experience driving commercial vans, towing trailers and/or driving box trucks up to 26 feet, and love of fun and parties, we might be a great fit for you! We are seeking someone who can spend the day on their feet, can lift at least 75 pounds, and can drive a box truck up to distances of 300 miles.

EVENT STAFF/DRIVER

DUTIES
• Packing, loading, and unloading equipment into a truck
• Drive the truck to the event site
• Setting up and breaking down event equipment
• Staffing and operating amusement and event equipment and attractions
• Performing warehouse tasks as assigned
• Communicate all equipment problems to the event lead
• Drive 16’ & 26’ company box trucks
• Tow various attractions with a company truck
• Transport other employees to and from job sites
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Adhere to core values
• Arrive on time for scheduled report time
• Dress in the appropriate required attire
• May be asked to meet at a job site or requested to meet at the Peabody, MA warehouse to truck a company

• Must drive professionally
• Parking Truck Safely
• Responsible for fuel, keys, truck security, tickets/tolls, and GPS
• Adhere to scheduled routes
• Must be able to manage company credit card responsibly
QUALIFICATIONS
• High School diploma or GED preferred
• Satisfactory driving record with limited offenses
• Must be at least 18 years old to drive a company vehicle
• Must have a DOT medical card
• Must be able to complete a drug screening and background check
• Must be able to speak English
• Familiarity with equipment rentals or special events is a plus but will train
• Must have experience driving commercial vans, towing trailers, and/or driving non-CDL box trucks up to 26
feet
• Will be required to successfully complete and obtain a SIOTO Basic Inflatable Safety Operations Certificate
• Will be required to successfully complete the driver education for the event rental industry training ARA
(American Rental Association) truck program
• Ability to drive a box truck up to distances of 300 miles and tow trailers up to 10,000 lbs.
• Familiar with Logbooks – US DOT Commercial Drivers
• Completing the Perfect Parties USA Driving Road Test for both trucks and trailers (2 different tests)
• Be able to stand on feet for over 10 hours at a time and bend
• Be able to travel overnight
• Can lift at least 75 pounds
• Must have the ability to work nights, weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays as required
• Must have the ability to use a mobile device with email, text messaging, and phone calling
• No visible tattoos or facial piercings
All qualifications must be satisfied for title change and promotion. All qualifications must be continuously satisfied
while in the role to keep the role and correlating compensation.
