If you are outgoing, hardworking, willing to work in a variety of settings (warehouse and on job sites), have your own transportation, and have experience driving commercial vans, towing trailers and/or driving box trucks up to 26 feet, and love of fun and parties, we might be a great fit for you! We are seeking someone who can spend the day on their feet, can lift at least 75 pounds, and can drive a box truck up to distances of 300 miles.

SENIOR EVENT LEAD

DUTIES
• Packing, loading, and unloading equipment into a truck
• Setting up and breaking down event equipment
• Staffing and operating amusement and event equipment and attractions
• Performing warehouse tasks as needed
• Client communication of arrival 60 mins or greater arrival time
• Checking truck that was packed correctly and accurately matching up against packing lists
• Taking a photo of the event setup upon completion and uploading it to the required portal
• Completing post-event recap within 48 hours
• Inspection of every piece of equipment prior to operation
• Making sure all attractions that require supervision are staffed appropriately
• Handling state amusement inspections while onsite at job locations
• Responsible for upkeep of maintenance and inspection logs of attractions and properly documenting amusement
training
• Must document weather shutdowns in 911
• Training event staff, event leads, and event managers as needed on-site and at the warehouse
• Journaling performance at least 6 times weekly of event staff, event leads, and event managers

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for your team, client, event outcome, and subcontractors (behavior, conduct, dress code, safety,
professionalism, delegation, etc.)
• Dress in the appropriate required attire with no visible tattoos or facial piercings
• May be asked to meet at the job site or requested to meet at the Peabody, MA warehouse and truck a company
truck to the job site
• Will be required to travel
• Will be responsible for managing 2-4 event leads
• Will be required to remain present at job sites to oversee equipment and staff
• Confirming all supporting team members are in uniform
• Responsible for traveling with an event tool kit to all jobs including needed tools, tear-aid, anemometer, etc., and
knowing how to properly use tools.
• Responsible for being the last one out of the event and doing equipment checks for left-behind equipment
• Using the 911 portal to report broken equipment
• Responsible for checking in with all subcontractors on events prior to their arrival
• Monitoring unsafe weather conditions and taking appropriate actions and steps including documentation in 911
• Will make sure the truck cab is cleaned out upon return to the warehouse
• Responsible for proper escalation of issues
• Overseeing maintenance conducted to licensed inspectable equipment and properly documenting
• Must complete the “Managing People” Course as directed by the company

QUALIFICATIONS
• Over 5 years of working industry knowledge or an Engineering Degree
• Must be able to pass a Drug test, and background check, and have a DOT medical card
• Must pass driving record check with minimal infractions
• Must be able to speak English
• Familiarity with equipment rentals or special events required
• High School diploma or GED required
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Must have experience driving commercial vans, towing trailers, and/or driving box trucks up to 26 feet in
length and capable of towing company equipment and rides
• Must have reliable transportation to warehouse and job sites as scheduled
• Satisfactory driving record with limited offenses
• CDL license and forklift hoisting license are not required but would warrant additional financial
considerations
• NAARSO Level 1 or Commonwealth of MA Certified Maintenance Mechanic (Unlimited) Certification required
• NAARSO Level 2 may warrant additional compensation
• Will be required to complete continued education yearly to maintain NAARSO certification
• Has the ability to spend the day on their feet and can lift at least 75 pounds
• Can drive a box truck up to distances of 300 miles
• Willing to work a demanding schedule including many long days, overnights, weekend work, and limited days
off during peak seasons
• Has a high level of knowledge in the amusement, rental, or entertainment industry
• Must have the ability to work nights, weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays as required
• State Inspection for all rides like the Rockwall, Trackless train, and other Amusements
• Ability to set advanced equipment as lead installer like Revolution, Alpine slide, Swings, etc.
• SIOTO Advanced
• Be able to administer event staff driver road test
All qualifications must be satisfied for title change and promotion. All qualifications must be continuously satisfied
while in the role to keep the role and correlating compensation
